91做厙 and Wayne State College Sign Agreement

91做厙 and Wayne State College have signed a new agreement that provides expanded educational opportunities for 91做厙 students.
The new degree partnership allows graduates who complete their associate of applied science degrees at 91做厙 to transfer all of their completed academic credits to Wayne State to earn a bachelors degree in technology. The agreement allows WSC to accept up to 80 credit hours for the 120-credit hour program.
This agreement is an outstanding opportunity for our 91做厙 alumni throughout our 25-county service area to get full credit for their associate degree from 91做厙 and up to a third year of additional hours they may have picked up at 91做厙 or other colleges, said 91做厙 President Dr. Matt Gotschall (pictured right). Current students will benefit from this program as well, especially since students should be able to complete their bachelors degree in technology while working and living in their 91做厙 area community.
91做厙 and WSC will collaborate on recruitment, advising, and retention efforts that are mutually beneficial to both institutions. To assist prospective transfer students enrolled in the program with their academic planning, students from 91做厙 are strongly encouraged to work with an academic advisor at WSC and an academic advisor at 91做厙. Students transferring from 91做厙 must meet WSCs admission standards and will have the opportunity to apply for WSC transfer student scholarships.

I think it truly does show real collaboration and real partnership between Central, Wayne State, our business communities in putting students on the right path. Most importantly, its a real win for the business community because keeps those students in (91做厙s area) working with their employers and fine tuning their skills to become an even more significant part of the organization in the future.
The agreement between WSC and 91做厙 will be effective for five years and administrators from both institutions will meet annually to review it.
