Industrial technicians and mechatronics professionals are creating the future of industry and consumer products. In our Mechatronics program you will explore computer automated machines and develop problem solving and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, fluid power and programming areas. Courses include electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, science, programmable logic controllers, motors, transformers, motor controls, pumps and mechanical systems.

BD is a global medical technology company that is advancing the world of health. BD’s scholarship program provides financial assistance to the most qualified individuals who are pursuing hard to fill technical careers. The scholarship award is in the amount of $4,000 over the course of the program ($2,000 per year). Behlen Mfg. Co. is an industry leader in livestock handling equipment, steel buildings, and commercial grain bins. They have a culture of continuous learning and education and support this value through their Tuition Reimbursement Program and Student Loan Repayment assistance. Behlen will pay 100% of the tuition and books up front for students interested in pursuing a career in Mechatronics. Behlen also offers internships and on the job training in technical positions as you work towards your degree. Cargill is looking for high caliber people to join their team as Industrial Maintenance Technicians. Cargill offers a Loan to Scholarship Career Placement Program for both their Columbus and Schuyler locations that includes paid tuition, books, supplies, on-campus housing, and equipment, as well as employment and career progression opportunities with Cargill.
